Blog of the month: January

If you haven’t already discovered this month’s blog, then you are in the minority! @teachertoolkit is the most followed teacher on Twitter and his blog is filled with useful, interesting and thought-provoking ideas and opinions about teaching. Covering everything from Ofsted to CPD, he was the inventor of the 5 minute lesson plan (which is now available in digital format). In real life he is Ross Morrison McGill, Deputy Headteacher at an inner city London school and Design Technology teacher, author of 100 Ideas: Outstanding Lessons and a regular contributor to The Guardian.

One of the most useful recent posts is 30 words:  CPD in 30 seconds – a crowd-sourced ebook  full of pithy and sensible advice for teachers at every stage of their careers.
